What type of bed frame should I use?

Sonno mattresses are compatible with most bed frames and bases, including box foundations, slatted bases, adjustable bases, and even on the floor. Bear in mind that the firmness might be different according to the base used (i.e. divan and floor base might feel firmer, slatted base might feel softer). We suggest a solid flat surface.

Can I sleep on my mattress right after unboxing it?

We recommend allowing one hour for your Sonno mattress to expand before sleeping on it. After 24 hours, your mattress will have fully taken shape and will perform at its best!

Should I flip or rotate my mattress?

The Sonno mattresses are designed to be used one way up, so flipping is not required. We recommend rotating the mattress 180 degrees every six months to maximise performance and durability.

Can I unzip my Sonno mattress cover and wash it?

Yes, you can do it with the Sonno Original mattress only.

How do I clean my Sonno mattress?

Sonno Original: You can unzip your mattress cover from the side, then wash it with cold water (machine or by hand) and line dry it only.

Sonno Lite: You can easily use a steam cleaner periodically to refresh and sanitise the soft knitted fabric of the cover.

Sonno Luxe Hybrid: You can easily use a steam cleaner periodically to refresh and sanitise the Tencel™ fabric of the cover.

Does vacuum compression affect my mattress?

The responsive foams we use are designed to provide years of optimal performance, which means we’re able to compress the Sonno mattress without impairing its core structure.

Do you make a custom size?

Yes! Please get in touch with our friendly customer service for a quotation. 

How thick are the mattresses?

The Sonno Mattress thickness is 23 cm (9 inches), the Sonno Lite is 18 cm (7 inches), while the Sonno Luxe Hybrid is 30 cm (12 inches).

How firm are the mattresses?

Our medium-firm mattresses are 6.5 to 7.5 on a firmness scale of 1-10, with 1 being very soft and 10 being hard.

Where are Sonno mattresses made?

Sonno mattresses are manufactured in Malaysia.

What safety tests have been done?

We put the Sonno mattresses through serious testing for comfort, design and most importantly, safety. The Sonno mattresses are SGS certified.

What is natural latex, and why is it used?

Latex foam is produced by vulcanising liquid latex. The vulcanisation process crosslinks latex particles with sulfur through the application of heat and accelerators such as zinc oxide. Latex does not retain heat and provides a high level of pressure relief from its bounce-back effect. It also provides excellent motion-transfer properties.

What is the Sonno Foldable Mattress made of?

Our foldable mattress is designed for comfort and convenience. It uses Sonno ComfortMax™ Support Base, a 8cm of high-density foam that provides excellent support, wrapped in a breathable and durable fabric cover. Lightweight, easy to move, and folds up neatly, it's the perfect sleep solution for guests, kids, or your next staycation.

Is it suitable for daily use?

Absolutely. While it’s often used as a guest bed, the Sonno Foldable Mattress is built to handle daily snoozing. Great for small apartments, shared rooms, or even for quick naps in your office corner.

What sizes are available?

Currently, we offer the foldable mattress in a standard Single size (90x190cm). It’s designed to fit easily in tight spaces when folded and rolls out to a full-length mattress when you need it.

Can I remove the cover to wash it?

The cover is not removable. We recommend using a fitted sheet or mattress protector to keep it clean. Spot clean any stains gently with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Can I use it on a bed frame or just on the floor?

The Sonno Foldable Mattress is designed to be versatile. You can place it directly on the floor or on any flat surface. It's also great for low-profile frames or tatami setups.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes, we back it with a 5-year warranty just like our other trusted Sonno products.

Is it safe and non-toxic?

What is the thread count?

Thread count means the number of threads measured by metric square centimetre.

Our eucalyptus sheets are 1100 threads per 10 square centimetres. We sleep-tested all our sheets to find a balanced thread count that felt just right, so you’ll sleep cool and your bed sheets will last night after night.

My current mattress is 200cm long. Can I use the Sonno bed sheets?

Sure, you can! Our bed sheets can fit any mattress up to 35cm thick. 

I don’t have a Sonno mattress. Can I use the Sonno bed sheets?

Sure, you can! Our bed sheets can fit any mattress up to 35cm thick. 

Can I buy my bed sheet set in different colours?

Yes, you can. You can get the duvet cover in one colour and the fitted sheet set in another colour. Mix and match away.

What is a bed sheet set?

Our bed sheet set consists of one fitted sheet set (fitted sheet, 1 duvet cover, 1 bolster case and pillows case) and the duvet cover.

What is a fitted sheet set?

Our fitted sheet set consists of one fitted sheet, 1 bolster case and one pillow case (1 pillow case for single/super single, 2 pillow cases for queen/king).

What is TENCEL™?

TENCEL™ is made from sustainably-sourced eucalyptus wood. The process used to create TENCEL™ fibres is eco-friendly and has won awards for its low environmental impact.

Do the eucalyptus sheets contain chemicals?

No, our sheets are OEKO-TEX® 100 certified and are free from harmful chemicals.

Can the queen size blanket be shared? 

We recommend purchasing two separate blankets instead of sharing one. Our Huggy Blanket is designed for one individual's use according to their weight.

The Weighted Blanket should not be used by children or people weighing under 45kg.

We deliver in 2- 4 working days. 

Can I change my delivery address after placing the order?

The delivery address can be changed as long as your order has not been dispatched for delivery. Once dispatched, it may be difficult for us to change the details, but do get in touch with us and we’ll see how we can help.

Can I choose a specific delivery date and time?

Unfortunately, we are not able to schedule your delivery in Singapore at the moment. 

Do you allow exchanges?

We do not allow any exchanges on sizes or between mattresses.

Do I need to keep and return the mattress box?

There’s no need to keep the original box, but please keep the plastic wrap.

Is it a return free?

We will apply a restocking fee on your returned product.
